Overview

The Overcomer’s Voice is a Christian motivational speaking service dedicated to inspiring, encouraging, and empowering people through real-life stories of faith, perseverance, and overcoming adversity. I use my personal experiences and faith in God to remind others that their circumstances do not define their future and that there is always hope beyond the struggle. My goal is to speak life, build confidence, strengthen faith, and encourage others to rise above their challenges and walk boldly in their purpose.

What to expect

When you hear me speak, I want you to feel like you are not sitting in front of someone who is just giving you a speech. I want you to feel like you are sitting with someone who understands. Someone who has been through some things, cried some tears, made some mistakes, had to pick herself back up, and still found a reason to keep going.
I am not here to pretend that life is always easy. I am here to be real about the hard parts of life and to remind you that the hard parts don't have to be the end of your story.
As The Overcomer's Voice, I share my personal testimony of overcoming abandonment, abuse, alcoholism, drug addiction, toxic relationships, and difficult life and health challenges. These are not just topics I read about. They are things I have lived through. I know what it feels like to hurt. I know what it feels like to lose yourself. I know what it feels like to wonder if you will ever be okay again.
But I also know what it feels like to begin healing.
My goal is not to make you feel sorry for me or to focus only on what I have been through. My goal is to show you what can happen when you decide that what happened to you will not be the thing that defines the rest of your life.
When I speak, you can expect honesty, encouragement, faith, compassion, and a message of hope. I will share the parts of my story that can help someone else realize that they are not alone. I want people to understand that being broken does not mean you cannot be rebuilt, and having a painful past does not mean you cannot have a beautiful future.
As a Christian and ordained minister, my faith is an important part of my message. I believe that God can bring purpose out of pain and that our greatest struggles can become part of the testimony we use to help someone else. I don't speak from a place of having everything figured out. I speak as someone who continues to grow, heal, learn, and trust God through the journey.
My message is for anyone who needs encouragement. It is for the person who has been abused and is trying to find their voice again. It is for the person who has battled addiction and is trying to believe that a different life is possible. It is for the person who has been abandoned and is struggling to believe that they are worthy of love. It is for the person who has stayed too long in a toxic relationship because they didn't know how to leave. It is for the person who has made mistakes and thinks those mistakes have disqualified them from having a better future.
It is also for the person who looks like they have it all together on the outside but is hurting on the inside.
I want my audience to know that they don't have to be ashamed of where they have been. Your past may be part of your story, but it does not have to be the final chapter.
You can expect me to challenge you to look at yourself differently. Instead of only asking, "Why did this happen to me?" I want you to begin asking, "What can I do with what I have been through?" Instead of believing that your past makes you worthless, I want you to begin seeing your value. Instead of believing that you have to stay where you are, I want you to believe that you can take another step.
Sometimes that first step is forgiveness. Sometimes it is setting boundaries. Sometimes it is walking away. Sometimes it is asking for help. Sometimes it is simply waking up the next morning and deciding that you are going to keep going.
I want my audience to leave knowing that healing does not happen overnight. You may have good days and bad days. You may have moments when you feel strong and moments when you feel like giving up. That doesn't mean you have failed. It means you are human.
I want to create an atmosphere where people feel safe enough to listen, reflect, laugh, cry, think, and be honest with themselves.
My speaking is not about perfection. It is about progress.
It is about learning to love yourself again.
It is about understanding that you deserve healthy relationships.
It is about recognizing your worth.
It is about learning that saying no does not make you a bad person.
It is about understanding that you can have boundaries and still have a good heart.
It is about knowing that asking for help is not weakness.
It is about realizing that your mistakes do not erase your value.
And it is about having the courage to believe that there is still something beautiful ahead of you.
I also want my audience to understand the importance of mental health and the seriousness of issues such as addiction and suicide. Through my education, certifications, and personal experiences, I hope to encourage people to speak up, reach out, and seek help when they need it. I want people to understand that they don't have to suffer silently.
There may be someone sitting in the audience who came there feeling like nobody understands them. There may be someone who has been carrying pain for years and has never told anyone. There may be someone who is struggling with addiction, depression, rejection, grief, abuse, or low self-worth.
I want that person to hear my message and know: You are not alone.
I want them to know that their life has value.
I want them to know that they are worthy of love.
I want them to know that they can ask for help.
And I want them to know that their story can change.
My hope is that when I finish speaking, people don't just remember my name. I want them to remember the message.
I want them to remember that they survived things they once thought would destroy them.
I want them to remember that they still have a purpose.
I want them to remember that healing is possible.
I want them to remember to give themselves grace.
I want them to remember to love themselves.
And most of all, I want them to remember that their story is not over.
The Overcomer's Voice is not about standing on a stage and telling people how to live their lives. It is about standing in front of people and saying, "I have been there too, and if I can keep moving forward, so can you."
I am new to public speaking professionally, but I am not new to overcoming.
My experience comes from real life. My message comes from my heart. My faith gives me strength, and my purpose is to use what I have lived through to encourage somebody else.
Whether I am speaking to a church congregation, women's group, community organization, recovery group, school, conference, organization, or private gathering, I want to meet people where they are.
You don't have to have the same story as me to receive something from my message. Pain may look different for each of us, but the need for hope, love, acceptance, healing, and purpose is something we can all understand.
You can expect me to be authentic.
You can expect me to be compassionate.
You can expect me to be honest.
You can expect me to speak from experience.
And you can expect me to leave you with hope.
My prayer is that every person who hears The Overcomer's Voice leaves feeling a little stronger than when they arrived.
Maybe you will laugh.
Maybe you will cry.
Maybe something I say will make you look at your life differently.
Maybe you will finally realize that you are worthy of the love you have been giving everybody else.
Maybe you will find the courage to take the first step toward healing.
Whatever the takeaway is, my hope is that you leave knowing one thing:
You are not what happened to you. You are not your mistakes. You are not your addiction. You are not your trauma. You are not your past.
You are an overcomer.
And sometimes, the very thing you thought would break you becomes the testimony that helps somebody else survive.
That is why I use my voice.
That is why I share my story.
That is why I created The Overcomer's Voice.
Because somebody needs to hear what I once needed to hear:
There is still hope. There is still purpose. There is still life after the pain. Keep going. Your story isn't over

About

My name is Nichole Jones-Hampton, and I am the voice behind The Overcomer’s Voice. I am a Christian, ordained minister, motivational and public speaker, and most importantly, an overcomer.
I have personally overcome abandonment, abuse, alcoholism, drug addiction, toxic relationships, and many difficult health and life challenges. I know what it feels like to struggle, feel lost, and wonder if things will ever get better. But I also know that there is hope on the other side of what we go through.
My purpose is to use my story to empower anyone who is struggling or has struggled with similar experiences. I want every person who hears me to walk away with hope, peace, self-love, strength, and the belief that they can overcome too.
I am certified in public and motivational speaking, have an entry-level diploma in psychology, and hold certificates in suicide prevention, drug abuse, and mental health. My message comes from both my education and, most importantly, my own life experiences.
Your story isn't over. You are an overcomer.

Influences and inspiration

Two people who have really influenced me are Lisa Nichols and Pastor Sarah Jakes Roberts. I admire the way they use their voices and their own life experiences to encourage, inspire, and empower others. They remind me that your story can help somebody else, and that you can turn your pain into purpose. Their courage to speak truth, share their journeys, and give people hope is something I want to carry with me as I grow in my own journey as The Overcomer’s Voice
