VISION & MISSION

The OUTDABOX Music Group is a group of interdenominational brothers & sisters with one intention, and that is to reach lost souls (people who may not ever step into a church/people who have been wronged by the church/even people who are still in church), through the gift of music. So many people get saved and keep GOD, JESUS & the WORD (Bible) in church, behind four walls, or quiet. This ministry said “we will not keep God boxed in we have work to do in these streets”.
The focal point is to bring the church to the streets. Outreach ministry can’t be done behind doors so we decided to step out, share the good news of Jesus, save some souls, and get people delivered. The best way to show people Christ is through your own personal walk & talk. People need to see that your walk is in sync with your talk. People want to know that it’s ok to be saved & cool. Our music ministry isn’t for everybody (that’s why it’s outdabox music) and this is the way God gave it to us. Our testimonies will save souls and deliver people without the band touching an instrument. That’s how confident we are about saying that GOD orchestrated this.
In late December 2013, The Outdabox X’perience was birthed. A couple of the current band members decided that GOD wasn’t through with them and the gift of music so they decided to form a band (which they call family) with members that played with various gospel bands, choirs, & secular groups throughout the DMV (DC, Maryland, Virginia). The vision was brought to all the members and everyone seemed to be on board. Every member of this ministry is “saved” and are sharing their talents with their church. These talents consist of being a musician, singer, minister, etc. with their church. God has gifted this ministry to entertain all by combining contemporary gospel, worship, neo-soul, hip hop, funk, rock, jazz, etc. to gain souls for Christ. They have been blessed with a sound that will terrorize the enemy and his host and set every captive free.
