Hi it’s the Nightshift here! Our focus is curating soundtracks for one-of-a-kind events, weddings, and really fun parties. Because we like the physical presence of a record and the warm analogue sound, we play all vinyl.
Musically, we spin new-wave, disco, synth-pop, r'n'b and rock & roll to create musical environments suited to your event. We work hard to understand your musical preferences and we draw on that to spin the music you didn’t event know you loved. We believe inthe power of music & the power of a killer dance party. We are all women, all vinyl.
Arts Thornton was able to receive a wonderful service from these ladies. Our art receptions are of a variety of age groups. They were so great at picking tunes for the audience that showed up to the reception. We all had a great time and we will be sure to keep them in mind for future events!

Event planners love our vinyl setup, it looks cool and guests can come check out the record cover and history of the music we are playing. If you want you can request songs ahead of time and we will buy them on vinyl! We have our own PA, microphones, and sound person so you don't need to worry about that. We will speak to you before the event to decide what kind of vibe you are trying to create, and the demographics and taste of your guests. Then we will help play music you love, and that you didn't even know you loved!
We are an all female DJ Duo. We love the physicality of vinyl records and spin mostly vinyl (although we will cheat if you have special requests). We really dig the music of the 70's, and 80's but we are not purists and get into contemporary music too. We learned to DJ in our friends garage and haven't stopped playing music since. Women often tell us how important it is to finally have a woman at the wheel, or at the tables, spinning the music for them to dance to. Lets dance!
