Overview
The Misfortunes are an Irish traditional band bringing the lively spirit of Irish music to every stage they play. Blending songs, energetic reels, jigs, and hornpipes with haunting slow airs, the band captures the heart of Ireland’s rich musical tradition while adding a unique touch of Americana, Old time, and Country flare. With Uilleann pipes, fiddle, banjo, whistle, and guitar they create driving rhythms, expressive melodies, that make the unmistakable sound of Irish traditional music. This versatile Irish band can range from 2-6 musicians. Reference's, studio work, and venues played available on request.

June 28, 2026Absolutely Fantastic!
It was our good fortune to have The Misfortunes play at our party. Over 150 party goers were clapping, dancing, singing along. The guys were not only professional but were so much fun and engaged with the audience. The common comment afterwards was "please get them back." Thanks guys for a memorable event.
