The May Days

You will see two or three (depending on presence of percussion) performers in their 30s playing mostly covers on acoustic guitar and keyboard. We are a brother-sister group with both members splitting lead vocal duties while the other provides harmony vocal. We are not loud and don't demand attention, but our musicianship and creative interpretations of well-known songs can hold the attention of the crowd. When percussion is included, it is all on acoustic hand drums - cajon and djembe - adding rhythm that can get people dancing but not overpower what is a primarily acoustic group.

With all both main members of the group trained in several instruments, we can provide music to fit any style. For a wedding, we can provide traditional during-ceremony instrumental music on piano, guitar, trumpet, or other instruments, switch to easy listening and instrumental music for cocktail hour and dinner, and play more contemporary pop during the reception.

We can also bring with us a wedding officiant / master of ceremonies, and other instrumentalists (cello, other string instruments), and a quality (though not full-service) photographer.

We can learn songs on request and strive to provide relaxing and entertaining music to suit the needs of the client.
