Overview

Main & Abbott is a community band based in Stittsville. Founded in 2010, the band has performed engagements at community events, retirement residences and Legion fundraisers. The band specializes in songs from the swing era made famous by Benny Goodman, Duke Ellington, Artie Shaw, Count Basie and many others. Band members are volunteers and mostly from the west end of Ottawa including doctors, engineers, teachers, small business owners, and retired military. The Band rehearses at the Legion in Stittsville every Wed night.
