We had about 20 people there for the show, he was very easy to communicate with, set up only took about 10 minutes. He had the best jokes and the best tricks. Can’t wait for another reason to hire Lee Botts again!

What to expect
My shows are planned to present the message of the client through magical entertainment and humor. I have experience working with adult audiences from dinner parties to banquets. If you hire me for your business, church, school, civic group, etc. your message will be an obvious and clear part of the performance.
Magic is not just for kids! Some of my best parties have been for adults. Tomato Joe of Pensacola invited me to perform for his family as a surprise for his 60th birthday. The owner of Shane's BBQ in Gulf Breeze/Pace invited me to perform for his 70th birthday. Any family dinner, church, civic or business banquet is a perfect time for magic. My shows for adults focus on the magic and often leave the audience wanting more and asking the question, "How did he do that?" Most recently I've been told, "This was like America's Got Talent...right in my living room!"
Birthday party shows are a specialty. My full time job is working with over 300 preschoolers ages 2-5 in my local Head Start program. I know kids and keep up with trends that are getting their attention. My show is 45-60 minutes of family friendly magical entertainment that will involve the birthday child and friends as part of the show. I perform magic classics with original presentations. I weave story telling and humor through each effect and build to a climax of discovering the magic in the birthday child.
About
I received my first magic set for Christmas at the age of six. My childhood fascination with magic is what drives me to deliver quality productions. I want children to experience absolute amazement and adults to leave entertained . . . if not perplexed. My material has been shaped and reshaped through countless hours of rehearsal and hundreds of performances. When planning for your event, I will take time to understand the audience, and fashion a show to meet your needs and exceed your expectations.
I live in Pensacola, Florida, and am willing to travel to perform. I provide family friendly entertainment that is suitable for audiences of one to several hundred. I have significant experience working with schools, churches, civic organizations, and business clients. My shows can range in length from 5 minute MC bits to a 75 minute stage show. If you are looking for large stage illusions and David Copperfield like production, I am not your guy. If you are looking for an experienced family entertainer with a show that combines amazing magic with family friendly humor, you will not be disappointed. My performance style is similar to Vegas Comedy Magician Mac King.
My fees and expenses are competitive. Each event is negotiated independently and will take into account your expectations, my costs and time. The minimum fee listed is based on the average local magic birthday party. Other events will take into account location, size of venue and projected attendance. Specialization to incorporate your event theme and/or branding will also adjust the cost of the contract. Again, contact me to experience some of the best Return on Investment in the industry!
Additional booking notes
For most shows I have no technical needs. I bring my own performance kit that includes a presentation table. I can perform in fairly tight quarters, but prefer to have at least an area of 6'-8' square to perform.
I do not carry sound or lighting to my gigs. I have a strong voice, but find that it is preferred to have a lapel mic provided for shows in bigger spaces and with larger crowds. We can discuss this when we work out the details of booking your event.

Influences and inspiration
Felix Snipes was the first magician I saw live. My shows are very similar to his and I have discovered that when I perform, my show leaves the same impression on people as he did on me. My best memory is that he performed the "zombie ball," where the magician causes a large metal ball to float around his body. However, my memory of that performance was that the ball floated out over the audience and back to the stage.
Mac King is a comedy magician with a daily matinee show in Las Vegas. I had a chance to see his show live several years ago and would recommend it to anyone visiting "Sin City." He closes with a rope trick that is performed so flawlessly even top magicians have to take time to think through how he does it. When Mac performed on Penn and Teller Fool Us for the second time, Penn said, "oh no, not the rope trick." He actually performed his version of aerial fishing; a marvelous act that he has performed for decades. I strive to present my shows with the same level of professionalism and humor as Mac King.
I must tip my hat to a magician whose name I do not know. He owned a magic shop in Panama City, Florida. I was in his shop looking for "tricks" in the early 1990's. He told me to stop buying tricks and start reading about them. That day I bought a book for $60, thinking I had lost my mind. Today, anyone can purchase the book on amazon for $20 new or used for as little as a few bucks. The book? Mark Wilson's Complete Course in Magic. As a kid I did not have a magic club or mentor, so it was college before I discovered the vast array of books that teach magic. Mark Wilson's explanations and clear drawings of the moves and the gimmicks opened my eyes to better understand the workings and psychology of performing magic.
