Honestly, one of the best parts of the 2025 Oak Park Family Fun Fest was The Magic of Elton & Amelia. The crowd—both locals and visitors—was totally hooked. It was so cool for the kids in the audience to see someone their own age up there doing real-deal magic. The energy they brought was just so sweet and fun; you can tell they love performing together.
They are hands-down a wonderful daddy/daughter act, and we are definitely bringing them back for future events. If you ever get the chance to catch their show, do yourself a favor and check them out!

About
The Magic of Elton & Amelia is a one-of-a-kind daddy-daughter magic act blending comedy, illusion, and family-friendly charm.
Elton Litzner is a veteran entertainer with a background that spans stage magic, sideshow, circus, and live event performance. His experience includes touring the college market with the Flying Cat Circus comedy ensemble, performing on the fair and festival circuit with Ward Hall’s World of Wonders, and appearances at venues such as Comerica Park, Greenfield Village, Soaring Eagle Casino, and Detroit’s Pix Theatre. He also trained in Coney Island, New York with legendary sideshow performer Todd Robbins.
Amelia joined the act in 2021 at just 4 years old and has been performing alongside her daddy ever since. In her five years as part of the show, she has delighted audiences at Zehnder’s of Frankenmuth, the Oakland County Fair, and the Children’s Museum of Flint. Amelia is currently a 4th grader at Trinity Lutheran School and also enjoys musical theatre and dance.
Together, Elton and Amelia bring a warm, interactive show filled with magic, laughter, and the special chemistry only a real-life father and daughter can share.

The Magic of Elton & Amelia presents a charming blend of classic magic, vaudeville-style comedy, audience participation, and theatrical illusion. Our repertoire draws from the golden age of magic while keeping the show fun, interactive, and family-friendly for modern audiences.
Signature pieces in our show include the Linking Rings, Miser’s Dream, Hippity Hop Rabbits, and our comedy Excalibur routine. Amelia is featured throughout the performance in magical moments of her own, including Amelia’s Square Circle, our interactive Coloring Book routine, and other surprises that highlight the special father-daughter dynamic at the heart of the show.
Depending on the event, performances may also include larger visual illusions such as Floating Table, levitation, mind-reading, and audience volunteer routines. Each show is tailored to the venue and audience, whether we’re appearing at birthday parties, schools, libraries, fairs, festivals, or theater events.
Influences and inspiration
Our show is inspired by the great masters of magic and mystery—legends like Harry Houdini, Harry Blackstone Jr., Lance Burton, and David Copperfield—performers who combined wonder, showmanship, and theatrical storytelling in unforgettable ways.
We also draw heavily from the atmosphere of Victorian-era magic, vaudeville, and the traveling circus sideshows of magic’s golden age. That world of elegant illusionists, mysterious showmen, and old-fashioned spectacle has had a deep influence on the look, feel, and personality of our performances.
The result is a family magic show with a touch of vintage charm—part classic illusion show, part vaudeville comedy, and part old-world wonder.
