JAZZ QUARTET ~ BIG BAND ~ SWING BAND
Swingtown creates a live interactive experience with a show that features popular songs from the 1920s through the 1950s. Classic Swing hits performed by either a small jazz quartet, a mid-sized big band, or a full 20-piece big band, as well as (optional) fun contests & karaoke for guests. The variety of entertainment keeps the crowd going and is custom-tailored for your event.
With 15 years in the music industry, Bryan has performed with such major artists as Willie Nelson, Questlove & The Roots, Wyclef Jean, Martha Wash, The Blues Brothers horn section, Erykah Baduh, Chaka Khan, Robert Glasper, George Strait, Sir Earl of Kool & the Gang, among others..

We had an AWESOME event, thanks in large part to Swingtown! Our guests loved his style and music selection. They were singing along and dancing the entire time. At one point Bryan started a runway style fashion show with some of our members and it was HILARIOUS! He also played a couple of Sinatra songs on trombone early on, it was classy and unique.
Everyone can't stop talking about how much fun it was, and Swingtown was our only entertainment.
Bryan is 100% Professional, accommodating and responded fast to all of my requests and questions.
We'll DEFINITELY bring him back to our next event!

With 15 years in the music industry, Bryan has performed with major artists and at every type of venue, so he knows how to make the event a smash!
Bryan handles ALL of the announcements, hosting, and DJs music on band breaks, so you don’t have to worry about ANY of it.
Swingtown provides all of the sound system components for the event and you are welcome to use the microphone for toasts, speeches, etc.
You can customize the band to the size and era of your choice. Swingtown has the most swingin’ band in Texas and performs at private events between festivals and concerts. Please call to check availability, thank you!
About
Bryan English composes & produces soundtracks for the Starz Television Network’s award-winning series (link hidden) (also featured on YouTube). His dedication to music lead him to Texas Christian University and the University of North Texas, where he earned his Doctor of Musical Arts degree. His performing credits include Willie Nelson, George Strait's band, Questlove & The Roots, Erykah Baduh, Chaka Khan, Robert Glasper, Wyclef Jean, Bilal, Martha Wash, Sir Earl (Kool & the Gang), Maria Schneider, Chris Brubeck, the Shelley Carrol Big Band, the Blues Brothers horn section, plus 10 major symphonies across the country.
He has toured the world, performing at amazing venues and festivals in 12 countries.
This diverse experience in jazz, pop music, R & B, hip hop, country and different cultures around the world has developed an acute perspective on music and how people experience it, and it all comes together when Swingtown plays just the right songs to get the crowd singing and dancing!
