The M-80s

The M-80s always delivers a high-energy, fun experience for your guests! We are a 1980s tribute act that specializes in LIKE, TOTALLY delivering authentic performances of your favorite songs from the 1980s...the early days of MTV. We perform a wide variety of pop, rock, and new wave music that appeals to everybody. The crowd will know every word to every song we play, and we encourage singing along and dancing!

For weddings and similar events, we offer additional services. We will learn up to two songs (of any genre) for special moments like first dances. We can provide prerecorded music services for breaks in the performance, and will work with you on the songlist. We can also emcee the event, making announcements and introductions, and working closely with the event coordinator to make sure things go smoothly.

Our show is always tailored to the venue and event, so that the song choices and show presentation match your expectations. We pride ourselves in being a professional entertainment resource, making the talent-buying process clear and easy for both expert and novice buyers. The M-80s bring back the fun and energy of the 1980s. This Birmingham, Alabama-based band is a five-member group of experienced, professional entertainers choosing the best music from the '80s and ensuring that you have a good time. We perform shows in venues of all sizes for indoor and outdoor concerts, showcases, parties, reunions, weddings, and benefits.

The band has an 18-year history that grew from a common love of the music and energy of the 1980s. We are fronted by a talented female vocalist, and every band member sings. We also incorporate keyboards and synthesizers into our sound. This allows us to provide authentic reproductions of a wide variety of pop music that other bands cannot duplicate.

We exist to make people happy with our music and the service we provide. We are professional in our presentation, performance, and business dealings. We know that hiring a band can be stressful, so we emphasize good communication with our clients, and we make the process clear and simple.
