Little Big Man and The Huge Groove is the most fun you’re ever going to have. Groove is the the most important thing to make you move, and you will be moving from the first note. R and B and Rock favourites are our mainstay but we can tailor a show to whatever you need. Comprised of the best session players in Ottawa, The Huge Groove performs as a 6 piece or up to a 10 piece depending on your budget. The band plays 2 one hour sets in a typical performance but can also adjust times according to your needs.

Little Big Man and The Huge Groove is Steve Hambling’s latest project in a career of over 40 years starting in 1970 with his first band The Purple Ghost.  He turned pro in 1977 with a punk/pop band The Shades, moving on to the biggest Motown review and the most popular band Ottawa had at the time, The New Capitals. Next a country band The Record men, a soul review Soultrain, a funk band Loretta and the Loose boys, and finally a soul piano trio The Huge Groove before a well deserved break to raise a family. Now he’s back with Little Big Man and The Huge Groove featuring three different singers and great horn section, playing classic Soul, Funk, Rock, and Reggae.
