SPEAKING:
For a speech, I most often time the speech precisely to be no less than 18 minutes and not longer than 20 minutes. I will open with an "attention grabber" such as a piece of poetry, singing a few lines from a song, or with a question or quote. I do not use profanity, and I only speak about God/religion in a clearly open and allowed setting i.e church, spiritual retreat, funeral service. I dress in business casual, usually slacks, heels, and a blouse, or a knee length skirt and a blouse. My speech layout is as follows: opening/attention grabber, introduction, body, conclusion. I tailor my speech to the theme of the event and to the audience that I will be speaking to. For example, I wouldn't give a speech about women's empowerment at an all male senior class commencement. I would write a speech about how important the role of a man is in the family, community and the world. My speeches are written solely by me and are free from plagiarism, false facts and biases. I have a powerful delivery, a clear tone of voice, and excellent usage of veracity, volume, variety and velocity. I use plenty of eye contact, hand gestures and I move about the stage rarely staying in one place. I may or may not use props depending on the event. I time myself precisely and the amount of information and effectiveness of the speech are balanced within the given time frame.

POETRY:
I write my own original poems, as well as recite poems from other credited authors. My poems are from 2-10 minutes depending on the given time frame. My poetry is also tailored specifically to the theme of the event.
