As someone who planned events and trainings for over 20 years, I understand the nuances of event logistics. I am a dynamic, flexible speaker who can lengthen or shorten my workshop so it fits YOUR needs that day if there is a snag. Have a theme - no problem! I can customize my session to incorporate it - or, even dress the part. (Check out my pictures!) It's a glorious thing when an event goes smoothly, but that is not always reality. I arrive with time to do a tech and sound check. I also bring my own cables, just in case! If you haven't asked me a question that I think you need to plan for - rest assured, I'll think of it for you. You don't have to spend an extra amount of time taking care of me - I am here to make your life easier on the day of your event.

My slides are visually appealing with colorful graphics and I believe in experiential learning, which means an engaged audience. That could be a discussion, activity or dialogue mid-session. I think the learning process should be a shared one! Somehow, I've been blessed to have a high energy, relational personality style while at the same time being task-oriented and analytical. I can usually connect to most every participant in the room, especially those invested in learning my topic. My presentation usually includes some data or factoid to prove what I'm saying really works and why it is important.

I have presented to groups as young as Kindergarteners (Girl Scouts rock!) to as senior as retirees! Having worked in a small non-profit, a large urban university, and a corporate setting - trust me, I understand what challenges you are facing. I adapt to my audience so every participant gains something from my presentation - even just ONE tip or fact they didn't know! Participants who have seen the same workshop multiple times say they always pick up something new since it's different and custom every time.

Kerri received her master's degree in Educational Leadership and Policy Studies and bachelor’s degree in Communications and Journalism from the University of Texas at Arlington. She lives in North Texas, married to her college sweetheart, Seth, and serves as a peacemaker to her two children.

I need a screen and projector to be provided. I can bring my own laptop and clicker if needed. Or, I can put my presentation on a stick for your tech. I'm pretty adaptable! In large rooms, I prefer a microphone but can project my voice if it is a small group of 25 or less.
