The Trio is a unique ensemble of artists with varied musical histories but a common love of the same vibe. They build their sound around the song writing of the group's leader, Joe Sweet. They layer percussion and guitar virtuosity over his subtle and soulful vocal style, evocative lyrics and superb melody sense.
The dynamics are organic and spontaneous, always seeking to rekindle the original inspiration that Joe used to create the song in the first place, and then take it to a different level.
The result is a brilliant single and emotional sound that always draws from the emotional timbre of the members.
It's a band worth listening to.
