Leader Jamie King Colton started music at the age of 7,by 12 he was in a band performing in Buffalo,N.Y.While in High School he joined Motown Records and scored many Top 10 hits.His release after Motown was at #1 "Here Come Da Judge".He toured the country doing shows throughout the US and Canada including many Air Force bases.He won Two Awards for Outstanding Soloist on Alto and Baritone saxophones. He moved to S.Fla and recorded an album of his original compositions using Billy Joels drummer and bassist,Elvis's Background singers,the drummer for BS&T and other (link hidden)1980 he joined the twins Mark & Clark playing 13 instruments they were signed with Columbia Records and appeared on almost every major entertainment show on TV and won The Carbonell awards for "Best Nightclub Act" & "Entertainer Of The Year".Their soldout performances took them to The Buena Vista Palace (Part of Disney)where they became the houseband for almost 6 (link hidden) 1990 King joined forces with Rock & Roll Hall of Famer and Legend Dion and did 11 world Tours including Australia,US,Canada,Germany and a show in Athens,Greece that was aired on TV in 33 countries.He performed in concert with The Four Tops,The Temptations,Little Richard,3 Dog Night,Frankie Valli,Fats Domino,Jay Black,The Everly Brothers,Lou Christy,The Righteous Brothers,Albert Lee,Aaron Neville,Toby Keith,Jerry Lee Lewis,Pat Travers,Rick Derringer,Sting,Kid Rock,Bob Seger,Steppenwolf,Iron Butterfly,Peter Frampton and to many more to mention.He became Musical Director for Grammy Winner Little Eva and toured with her for 3 years doing 39 shows in 28 cities across The United Kingdom including two at The London Palladium and received an award for a sold out tour.He has 6 CD's released worldwide and another 4 ready to release. He did a sold out concert with Dave Mason and got several standing ovations.He headlined at The South Florida International Blues Festival with Kenny Wayne Shepard,Tinsley Ellis,Anthony Gomes,Janiva Magness,Michael Burks,Carl Wethersby,Super Chicken and did the voice overs for 3 Nintendo Games and has written and produced many Radio and TV commercials including one for The Armed Forces that aired at all the US bases around the world. He also starred in the movie The Spacey Brothers and did the entire soundtrack.His Sax solos were used in the movies "Michael" starring John Travolta,William Hurt and Andie MacDowell also "The Long Kiss Goodnight" with Geena Davis and Samuel L. Jackson . He recently starred with Johnny Depp in the movie "Rock And A Hard Place" and had a role in "Bad Actress".He is performing in S.Florida with his band "King Colton and The Chrome Skulls" They play Classic Rock Hits ,done their own way.
