the honeycreepers are the musical fusion of classical and musical theater trained vocalist Kelsea Burch and self-taught, experimental guitarist and vocalist Matt Shea. We are a regionally touring act with experience playing birthday celebrations, wedding receptions, wedding ceremonies and house parties. A honeycreepers show is an engaging experience, taking the audience anywhere from tears to full on dancing. At parties, we are known to improv songs and encourage collaboration, making the guests an integral part of the experience. We can also serve as pleasant, mellow mood-setting music. We have hours of genre-bending original music as well as an extensive repertoire of fun covers!

December 15, 2019Matt & Kelsea did a wonderful job playing in the Atrium at the Velvet Mill. Music and vocals were very tight and was an excellent mix of folk and Christmas songs. My favorite was the Irish Christmas song which got the visitors dancing and tapping their feet! You could tell they really prepared for this event with many Christmas songs delivered by Kelsea's beautiful vocals in her unique style and Matt played his own original: "It's a Christmas song" and even broke out the Electric guitar for "Run Run Rudolf"! These two are very professional and serious about performing their music. I look forward to working with them again for a future Velvet Mill event.
