The Herreras play a variety of World Fusion tunes influenced by artists such as the Gypsy Kings, Rodrigo y Gabriela, Strunz & Farah, Jesse Cook, Paco de Lucia, Ottmar Liebert and even acoustic arrangements by The Beatles and The Rolling Stones.
The Herreras play at private events, wedding cocktail hours, receptions, festivals, bars, restaurants, lounges and more.

November 3, 2023I booked the Herreras for my wedding cocktail hour and 5 years later, I'm still getting praise about them! They were amazing to work with and so talented -- I had them play a mix of traditional spanish songs, along with rock songs and they did it all with such a unique flair! My family from Spain was impressed as well as my much younger friends who were all in NYC bands. The range of songs were diverse and they were able to set a fun and exciting tone for our wedding. The Herreras also play locally so you can check them out before booking, but honestly, it would be a mistake not to hire them -- literally one of THE most favorite vendors we've booked for our wedding and I have such great memories of them. My only regret is not getting to my cocktail hour fast enough after pictures to hear more of their music!

September 1, 2018As soon as I got engaged, I knew I wanted Spanish guitarists for our wedding ceremony and cocktail hour. We found the Herreras on Gigsalad, and were drawn to them because of their Spanish guitar repertoire. After viewing their YouTube video, we knew they had the style and talent we were looking for. We contacted them, and Sebastian, the lead guitarist, responded immediately. They were easy to get a hold of, professional, and responsive. At my request, the band learned a song for the ceremony, and it sounded absolutely perfect. They arrived early, set up a microphone for our officiant, played the cocktail hour, and delivered beyond our expectations. Thank you very much Herreras!

The Herreras are a group of talented musicians whose passion for music has no limits or boundaries.
The Herreras strive to provide exceptional entertainment by doing what they love to do best; playing with heart and soul.
The band was founded by Esteban and Sebastian who started out as a guitar duo in 2009. During this time, the duo established the roots of their music and showcased their talent to local audiences. The friendly open mic nights proved to be essential in the beginning. These local gigs helped to build their confidence performing live in front of people. Soon enough they were hooked! The adrenaline of performing in front of a live audience, the interaction with the people around them and the connection between them and their fans gave their music purpose!
Each Herrera has his own unique style of playing. While Sebastian is a guitar virtuoso using finger picking techniques that allow him to reach tremendous velocity in his playing, Esteban has developed a technique using a tear drop pick which allows him to swiftly cover the entire fret board with his high speed signature move self titled: "super sonic"

Being related (cousins), Esteban and Sebastian share a family of well respected musicians. Their fathers and uncles make up the group Los Hermanos Herrera (The Herrera Brothers) who perform often in select events.
