My goal is to make it easy for you to offer face painting at your event. I come with my kit, tall chair, and everything I need. All I need from you is a dedicated, well-lit space that is protected from the elements. If needed, I can also bring my white 10'x10' event tent for an additional charge.

For parties, I book a two-hour minimum.

For Halloween weekend, I do not travel. Instead, I book private appointments out of my inner NE Portland home studio where I have access to all my supplies for face and body painting as well as special effects makeup.
Appointments for Halloween faces start at around $100 and time depends on the length and complexity of your chosen design.

Hello! I am Julie Corbett, owner and artist for The Gilded Cat. We provide high-end face painting, body painting, glitter tattoos, and special effects makeup for haunted houses, corporate, and private events. I have worked for NBC's Grimm to face paint their actors for their Halloween episode, "La Llorona."

I love transforming clients into walking works of art. Kids love getting into character with face painting at birthday parties, and adults love sophisticated faces for a girls-night-out, masquerade events, or Halloween parties.

For events, I can complete 10-12 full faces an hour or 10-15 smaller designs per hour.
For stunning works of art for Halloween parties or private events, I can provide both a time and fee quote for your design.

I take your and your guest's safety seriously. I use only skin-safe, FDA-compliant products, keep a clean kit, and am fully insured.

I will travel as far as the client would like to send me. Please inquire about travel fees.
