The Drawing Point

Our mission is to provide the best art instruction possible in a positive environment that cultivates each student’s talents. We are dedicated to recognizing, affirming and supporting each student’s emerging individuality by helping them strengthen their sense of self through art. So whether for the serious artist or just for fun, we are there to assist you on your art journey.

Diane Carter, art teacher at The Drawing Point, has a successful private art lesson studio in Valrico, FL. She has been hosting Paint Parties for a few years now and it is one of her favorite ways to inspire others to paint.

We also provide Private and semi-private art lessons

We have been offering for over five years, private art lessons. Our sessions are broken down into either 30 minute or 60 minute sessions once a week. Reservations are necessary and by appointment only. Our students have the opportunity to learn how to properly draw in two and three dimensional form using a variety of media such as Graphite Pencil, Watercolor Paint, Colored Pencil, Water-Color-Pencils, Chalk Pastel and more.

The Drawing Point agrees to take all reasonable measures to prevent painting messes. Spills and splatter sometimes happen and we want to make sure you are comfortable with having us in your home to host a paint party. You must sign a waiver of liability during booking.
