I’m a versatile drummer with 50+ years behind the kit and over 40 years as a music educator, including 30 years as a high school band director. I arranged for marching bands, jazz ensembles, and percussion groups, composed concert band music, and still enjoy teaching and performing. I read music fluently, learn material quickly, and have played virtually every style—rock, country, funk, jazz, big band, salsa, worship, classical, and more. I understand how to serve the music, knowing when to lead, when to support, and how to make the band feel great. I play with solid time, musical dynamics, and the kind of groove that gets heads bobbing. Based in Carrollton, GA, I regularly perform throughout Metro Atlanta. I’m professional, dependable, prepared, punctual, easy to work with, and always present myself professionally.
