The Crybabies

The Crybabies are an all femme string band from New Orleans, focused on stacked harmonies. A jazz string band since 2018, the Crybabies got their start busking trying to project over the drunks on Frenchmen Street.
They've mellowed slightly as they adjust to the indoors, playing gigs both regionally & nationally, and throughout New Orleans– playing special events, punk house shows, venues on Frenchmen Street, the St. Claude corridor, and Jazz Fest– but their hearts remain in the street. Currently the Crybabies repertoire includes traditional 20’s-40’s jazz, blues, country, and a variety of soul, doowop, and pop classics, along with original songs written by each of the five bandmates.
