The ConnChords, founded in 1946, is Connecticut College's longest-running all-female (now trans and non-binary inclusive) a cappella group. We sing a wide range of songs and genres; this semester alone includes songs by Frank Sinatra, The Mamas and The Papas, Kehlani, Sammy Rae, Gnarls Barkley, Queen, and more. On campus, we rehearse six hours per week, which prepares us to perform at other colleges, schools, nursing homes, private parties, school functions, and more. We have released eleven CDs, the most recent of which debuted in September of 2017, and another CD will be recorded in the spring of 2020.

December 10, 2018They were above and beyond what I envisioned for my event for my wife's birthday surprise. My wife described them as "angelic",while crying tears of joy. I could not be happier with their performance. Love Love Love this talented group of women.

October 9, 2016The ConnChords were fantastic! Their vocal arrangements were perfect, they were very accommodating because the performance had to be a surprise. They sang 2 songs, which I don't believe they have ever sang before, to my wife and I and having them there made it seem like we spent twice the amount of money on our wedding. They were more than fairly priced also!
