What to expect

We are a traditional Irish band of talented and flexible musicians ready to cover your favorite songs in an Irish tone or just play through some of our favorite folk songs. We pride ourselves on clean harmonies and tight instrumentation. Perfect for your fantasy wedding, pub sing, Celtic Festival or any other event that could use a bit of Irish luck!

About

The Concrete Clovers are a Celtic inspired music group beckoned by Irish trad music and American folk influence. The group met working as full-time cast members at the Pennsylvania Renaissance Faire. After the season, through a combined interest in Celtic music and interactive comedy, the fictitious lives of The Concrete Clovers were born:

Renaissance Faire Personas:
4 ex-cons whose pure Irish dumb luck saved their necks from the gallows (heads from the chopping block). They have gathered to work off their many hours of community service through song and lessons to the many scoundrels hoping to turn over a new leaf. These troublemakers turned troubadours are attempting to walk the straight and narrow way , but perhaps the path to salvation is more like the Rocky Road to Dublin than the English Crown would have you believe.

Each member of the group hosting proficiency in multiple, period appropriate instruments leads to a great range of sound and talent. And, with each members extensive improv backgrounds, bits and jokes abound bring audiences in to the “good-trouble” these 4 are up to. Outside of their Renaissance personas, the group also performs as a tried and true Irish-American folk band... minus a few thee’s and thou’s.

The Concrete Clovers are currently promoting local gigs in the greater Philadelphia Metropolitan Area and are open to all bookings.
