I cannot recommend The Collective enough! They played during our cocktail hour and absolutely exceeded every expectation. From the moment they arrived (right on time and ready to go) to the last note they played, they were the picture of professionalism, talent, and grace.
The music was phenomenal—classic jazz that truly set the perfect mood. Our guests couldn’t stop raving about how amazing the band was. And as if that wasn’t enough, they surprised us last minute by including a saxophonist at no extra cost! It was such a generous and thoughtful gesture that elevated the entire experience.
They were easy to communicate with, incredibly flexible, and brought my exact vision to life with such care and artistry. My only regret is not having them play during the ceremony as well!
If you're considering The Collective for your event—do it. You won’t regret it. Even my wedding planner was stunned to hear it was their first wedding. Their performance felt like that of seasoned pros, and they were a highlight of our day.

The Collective is a 4-10 piece band that enjoys playing genres like jazz, funk, soul, rnb, and other groovy styles. We provide services such as cocktail hour, corp. events, weddings, birthday parties, festivals, and really anything you want to hear us jam at. We all are about college age and we LOVE to have a good time. We hope to play your next event!
