Overview

Hi! I work FT for a nonprofit as a development manager, but I am also an established classical pianist, piano teacher, and composer who moved to Boston a few years ago. I can provide you and/or your event with formal or informal performances of classical composers, cocktail background music, light jazz, Disney and movie tunes, and my own compositions. I can perform a large variety of music repertoire for your event!

Wonderful talent

Our family reception at Lyman Estate was made much more enjoyable by Mike's beautiful playing. He clearly loves to play and brings that joy to listeners and dancers.
In addition he is a pleasure to work with.

About

Thank you for looking at my profile!

I hold a Masters Degree in piano performance from Webster University in St. Louis. I also have a MSW from Boston College. I have been performing for 15 years now (off and on) and truly enjoy playing for crowds of people, both small and large.

Additional booking notes

I prefer that there is a piano already at the venue/location I'll be playing at. However, I can bring my piano/keyboard as well - which would need to be near an outlet. I'm very easy easy going and have no other staging, lighting, and sound requirements (just not super dark so I can see the music!).
