Antonio Hinton a.k.a. The Chozen 1 born in Laurel, Mississippi and raised between Newark and Jersey City, New Jersey. Since the age of 11 he started honing his crafts of singing, rapping, writing songs and dancing. He would never have imagined the latter to be his calling from God, let alone doing it with white paint on his face, but that’s the path that God sent him on and he followed. As the saying goes, many are called but only a few are chosen.

The Chozen 1 has been anointed and appointed by God and through his ministry of dance he touches hearts, minds and spirits alike. He has been given the moniker the “Interpreter of Worship”. Antonio served as a youth leader of his former church The High Power of God Ministries in Jersey City, NJ under the leadership of the late Pastor Thomas L. Williams and Prophetess Mary Williams. There is where he continued to let God shape and mold his gift that made room for him to wear many hats in the ministry.

Some of his most requested songs are “When Sunday Comes”, “Make Me Over”, It’s Not Over”, “More of Thee” and “The Best In Me”.

He has ministered in numerous churches and events to much praise from the people, saved and unsaved. He has been told that the anointing on his life falls heavy whenever he ministers to God’s people. Some have been saved, delivered and set free after he brings forth God’s message. He is very passionate about his ministry and when he’s in front of the people, his main prayer is that they don’t see him, but the God in him. The Chozen 1’s life message is “Be still and watch God move in your life, but most importantly, don’t move until he says move”.

The Chozen 1 is very passionate about the youth ministries that he works with in his spare time and tries to lead by example not just through his own ministry, but also through the everyday life that he lives. Knowing that he is responsible for such impressionable lives only gives him that much more motivation to live a righteous life.
