The Causeway Giants

The Causeway Giants played our mother’s Celebration of Life fit for Irish Royalty. In a time of family sorrow, we couldn’t imagine anyone else bringing our family together for such a send off. Although unconventional, our Mom would have been so proud to be sent off this way. Dan was highly accommodating to personal requests, and made us feel like we were one in the planning process. He is such an incredible performer, and the entire band had our family celebrating for ours on end. Highly recommend for any event; weddings, wakes, parties, concerts, etc. The Causeway Giants are your best bets!

The Causeway Giants came and played for our wedding this July and were quite amazing. They played a wonderful mix of contemporary as well as Celtic music, which is exactly what we hoped for. They fit perfectly with general atmosphere of the town's proud Scottish heritage.

The band was also great fun, playing to the crowd. It was a smaller wedding (under 100 people), but there was no less enthusiasm from the stage, and the band read the room and played songs that matched the mood - up tempo when people were moving and a little slower when tbe couples came out together.

They were generous with their time and very easy to work with. All they asked of us was where to be and when, and they took care of the rest. Given the many moving parts on the wedding day, this was so appreciated.

And perhaps most importantly, they were really good. The fiddle in the band was wonderful, and all band members showed real talent. The singer was phenomenal. It can be hard to know when you hear music online how much it is produced and how well it will translate live. The Causeway Giants are an excellent live band.

We booked the Causeway Giants for a 50th birthday party and from the start they were unbelievably easy to deal with. Communicative, professional and so very talented. We had Dan kick off the dance floor at our wedding and we couldn't have been happier! He is incredibly talented and brought an amazing energy to our evening. Prior to the wedding, he helped us put together the perfect setlist, and was extremely responsive and professional throughout the process. The fiddle player that performed alongside Dan was excellent as well and our guests loved the family-friendly start to the night! We would highly recommend booking The Causeway Giants.
