The Blues Box Bayou Band is NOT your mama’s accordion band!...The excellent "dance party" reputation of The BluesBox Bayou Band has got around... The band launches into a powerful Cajun / zydeco swamp beat style you just can't sit still to! Rising from humble beginnings, this zydeco group caught on quickly, at first entertaining spaghetti feeds to recent performances at the '09 Sacramento Jazz Jubilee, the Long Beach Crawdad Festivals, Six Flags Vallejo and many more. To date the Blues Box Bayou Band have released four CD recordings with their latest release "Rock a'Bayou". Two premier singles from their upcoming CD, "Move Around / Family Bayou" are available through download.
