I'm a California transplant who landed in the lowcountry after serving 20 years in the Marine Corps. I have a BFA from Montclair State University and a BS from U of SC (not that you care about that). I play drums, that's what I do. I also teach/coach Jiu Jitsu (hence "Blackbelt").
I use roughly 11 mics on average for my setup but I can work with as few as 4 if the venue cannot support the I/O requirements.
