"The Bibles 'Bad' Girls"

When someone books me, their audiences will be entertained and introduced to a new way of Biblical Storytelling. They will learn some new facts and be reminded of many stories they heard long ago. Many of the women I portray are familiar, such as Eve, Sarah, Elizabeth, Mary and many more. I also have wonderful portrayals of women who are not so well known. Women like Rhoda, Dorcas, Phoebe, just to name a few. I have over 20 original dramatizations and 7 original songs. Each time I perform, I customize the performance to your needs. Typically a show is an hour long and I combine different songs and dramas. I like to interact with the audience by asking them questions about who I am going to portray. Daneen has written many songs and stories about women in the Bible. Her body of work is called, “The Bibles ‘Bad’ Girls”.
The word “Bad” can have a double meaning. For instance, in 1960’s slang; if someone said, “Oh, that’s bad!”, they could have meant “Oh, that’s good!”
Daneen uses the double meaning of the word “Bad” as she tells her stories about these amazing women who did brave and courageous deeds, and always for the glory and honor of God.
Each piece was researched by Daneen, using the Bible as the primary reference and using various other sources, but most of all, she was guided by the gift of the Holy Spirit.
She has blended her research with her personal interpretation of these women’s lives with the goal of both informing and entertaining you.
She has been married for 45 years, has three children, 5 grandchildren, and two dogs. Audiences and the stage are not strangers to her as she has been acting and performing her entire life.

My staging is quite simple. I require a microphone, sound system, video screen, and some sort of device to use for my flash drive. However, if your organization does not have these items, I can bring my own. Also, I do not require much space.
