If we’re being honest, life can be exhausting. Why? Because far too many of us are fighting for something we don’t want, need, or even understand. That truth is something I learned from my mom. On her tombstone, it was inscribed “light the light-fight the fight.” Adhering to this simple truth has changed everything. It has allowed me to clearly understand what I wanted out of life, and how to go get it. Which allowed for all my hard work to bare fruit, rather than exhaustion. This is the reason for my future, I will continue to spread her word. I will continue to motivate and inspire individuals to pursue their goals, regardless of any crisis that may encounter.

The audience can expect five things when Ben speaks.
1. They will know clearly where he is going and what they will learn. He is organized and presents the "map" of where we are going so the listener knows what they will learn.
2. Ben is entertaining. He is not a textbook speaker. He thinks on his feet and has a way of communicating that is not robotic.
3. Ben provides unique perspectives. He is guaranteed to bring something up that you did not think of. It may challenge the listener but at minimum, it will make them think.
4. Ben is funny. It is not in a forced or awkward way. He just has a way that will make you laugh at some point of the speech.
5. He cares about his content. He wants the audience to walk away better for his presentation. His passion and care for his work is blatantly obvious.
My life path has always been connected to people. Thirty years ago I sat down with my typewriter and started typing letters to folks because I wanted to coach kids.
I became a teacher who had a special mission for kids. I had a simple belief system; leave them better for knowing me. I needed to provide for my family so I started a lawn business as well and it exploded. I stepped away from teaching and started my own youth sports organization called More Than Athletes. While it grew to be one of the largest basketball organizations in Kansas City, my biggest blessing was reaching into the lives of families. I used my organization to reach out to families of all socio-economic backgrounds.
I gave presentations to thousands of kids and parents about what is really important in the game of life. I am now moving towards a new audience as I travel the country inspiring others to live the life they were meant to live.
