Overview
I’m a poet, singer and guitarist with a jazz feeling and background I am an accomplished jazz drummer, and play in Trios up to big band.. I can create a set for you or I can specifically bring an event of music designed to your liking. I like to involve myself (or not) with my audience and create a joyful experience.
I went to Wright State music education and Berklee college of music in Boston. I have been performing in various groups and solo since I was 12 years old. I have been teaching Drums and Guitar privately for over 30 years. I can read music if necessary.

Janet Ogg wrote and performed two beautiful songs for our music school recital. She writes songs that are very deep and touching with meaningful topics. She is an excellent drummer and guitarist as well and plays with passion. Don’t hesitate to hire her for any event!

What to expect
I would definitely arrive in plenty of time to do the necessary set ups and become at ease with my environment. I love meeting and playing with other musicians and I like to dress appropriately and attractively. I’m a professional and like to have a good time.
About
I started studying guitar and drums at age 7. I competed in the American guild of music my entire childhood and started playing drums in a band at age 12. I continue to be a drummer in a variety of musical groups and then went to Wright state for music education, and then to Berklee College of music, studying my drums and always playing writing and learning music theory through my guitar. I’ve had immeasurable bands that I have put together over the years playing original music. I am looking for jobs as a drummer as well as jobs playing the guitar and singing I can play solo or I can form a group with the Guitar or be part of group.
