Overview

Original rock that recalls the magic of radio rock in the 70s and muscular versions of deeper cuts you grew up on.

They killed it

The Bar Pilots graciously played at an auction my friends had for me to help raise money for cancer treatment. Over 200 people showed up. The place was already buzzing. Then, the Bar Pilots took the stage. Watching people dance made me so happy. The band was having a blast and pulled the whole room in with them. Thanks, Bar Pilots, for being so giving. That night helped my family pay for and beat cancer. I'm forever grateful.

Bar Pilots Rock the Nike World Headquarters

The energy that is the Bar Pilots flew in for a few 3 hour sessions, encouraging some fine dance moves and interaction. The musicians not only jammed out to their own songs, but included requests from the audience. The dynamics in the group are solid and spirited. Thanks Bar Pilots for helping to set the tone and make our events such an amazing success! Looking forward to seeing where you land next.

The Bar Pilots soared

The Bar Pilots played a joint effort benefit for the homeless called "Horns for the Homeless". They came in with beaming smiles, great attitudes and really lifted up the room for 120 homeless people and those that were helping them. We highly recommend this band.

Rocked the House!

Threw a rock and roll themed birthday party for my sister, booked the Bar Pilots, they came dressed up and rocked the house! For the set-up we had, the Bar Pilots sounded even better than what we had expected! The party loved them and danced the night away, to the sounds of the Bar Pilots!

Bar Pilots rocked and helped out the community!

As the northwest heads into the most gray and wet seasons of the year, Horns for the Homeless (H4H) served the community last November providing clothing, blankets, shoes, hygiene, food and haircuts. Horns for the Homeless uses music to channel a connection to those feeling vulnerable, lost, and outcasted. This winter 2016 event was entertained by special guests The Bar Pilots who provided live music, casting smiles across the crowd. H4H is grateful for the time and talent donated by each member Rob Wessels, Vince Adame, and Rob Coleman. Thank you gentlemen for making the event a lot of fun, you got people dancing and singing along. For an event that serves those living in extreme hard times, that says a lot! Thank you for being true rockstars!

What to expect

Raw energy inhabits the sound stage, an obviously good time is happening up there and that translates to your audience. Charismatic on stage and conversational off stage. These are good guys with no issues. B

About

Portland, Oregon-The Bar Pilots play at a different altitude than other bands. Fueled by rough-edged guitars and the muscular thrust of bass and drums, there's a sonic intensity that drives their classic sense of melody, they love what they do and the room gets caught up in it too. The Bar Pilot's motto is Good Times and Bad Decisions. One will directly lead to the other and these guys provide the soundtrack. Ladies and gentlemen, these are the Bar Pilots.

Influences and inspiration

The Stones, Allman Brothers, James Gang, Led Zeppelin, Aerosmith, David Bowie, Prince, James Brown, Howlin' Wolf, The Cure, The Replacements, The Church, U2, Poison, Elvis, Dwight Yoakam and on and on.
