Acoustic and Electric Guitarist, Robert “AX” Adams, Jr., is the best kept musical secret in the Washington Metropolitan area and is celebrating “40 Years of Loving ALL Though Music." Mr. Adams has been a Michael Jackson Cover Singer and Impersonator since the age of 8, and while in High School in the Philippines was considered the most popular impersonator of the time.
“AX” is a classically educated guitarist, singer-songwriter and producer, often compared to the greats of pop, rock, and R&B. He has played with or opened for such music legends as Mavis Staples, Sister Sledge, Lalah Hathaway, Jody Watley and Pieces of a Dream, among others.

Robert and his band played for an event my work was hosting. The music was perfect for the tone and vibe of the event. With very little direction, Robert was able to sense the mood of the day and helped to reinforce the energy and goal of the event. I highly recommend!

Robert AX played an array of music for all ages! He was the perfect price, extremely personable and professional and played longer than he needed to just to give us more music as our event ran late. About
Acoustic and Electric Guitarist, Robert “AX” Adams, Jr., is possibly the best kept musical secret in the Washington Metropolitan area and is celebrating “40 Years of Loving ALL Through Music." As the son of the Chief Maintenance Officer of Air Force One, Mr. Adams has been a Michael Jackson Cover Singer and Impersonator since the age of 8, and while in High School in the Philippines was considered the most popular impersonator of the time.
“AX” transitioned to Berklee College of Music, becoming a classically educated guitarist, singer-songwriter and producer, often compared to the greats of pop, rock, and R&B. He was a founding member of award winning contemporary gospel group Gideon Band and has played with or opened for such music legends as Mavis Staples, Sister Sledge, Lalah Hathaway, Jody Watley and Pieces of a Dream, among others.
Mr. Adams is available and equally adept as an enlightening one man show, Featuring Prince and Michael Jackson covers. Robert AX Adams, Jr. sows his musical gift as a professional music teacher to the DC Area and his four lovely children. His solo project is set to debut in March 2017 in honor of his late wife of 29 years. He wholeheartedly believes that music is the essence of life and wants you to truly live a transcendent AXperience.
Additional Booking Notes
We are a full service solo acoustic, electric, and vocal performance company. I am fully stocked for stage shows, performances, weddings, festivals and events. I work with very little equipment to meet the needs of even the smallest budgets.
Everything can be negotiated and we let nothing come between a beautiful musical partnership.
