TETRA is a polished classic rock cover band, We cover a variety of Classic Cover Rock songs from the 50s, 60s, 70s and 80s such as, Eagles, Dire Straits, CSNY, C.C.R., Eric Clapton, America, Beatles, Jim Croce, James Taylor, Rolling Stones, U2, Crowded House, Bruce Springsteen and more.
We have professional equipment and provide good entertainment to all. We perform at Private Parties, Rehearsal Dinners or Cocktail Hours, Happy Hours, Bars, Restaurants, Clubs, Festivals.
We can also perform as a Duo, Trio or 4 piece band.

July 24, 2025I hired Tetra for my husbands birthday party, and they were great.
Unfortunately due to my space limitations I was only able to have Dan, lead guitar and vocals and Brian the bass player.
Nevertheles, they had everyone up and dancing. They took my backyard birthday to the next level.
My guests loved them, and one person already hired the entire band for her birthday.
They are super reliable and accommodating, look forward to using them again!

July 25, 2021The Dan Bishop Band surpassed all our expectations! We had a surprise party in our backyard. Prior to the event Dan was available to answer all questions and had open lines of communication. The band arrived early and sounded great throughout the entire 3 hour slated time. I’m still receiving complaints from our guests and will definitely use The Dan Bishop Band for future events!

TETRA is equally at home performing on Concert stages, rowdy Irish bars or trendy Hampton's Restaurants. Formed by Dan Hurney in 2010 it has been a staple in the local area since then. Some members have changed over the years but the focus is the same. Create social Harmony Through Music play good songs and put our own feel on each one.

This band does not require a large stage plot, is easy to set up & works under almost any budget. The current band line up includes;
Dan Hurney, Guitar/vocals the founder of TETRA has been a successful solo performer based on Eastern, L.I. for many years. His vocal style been compared to such artists as, John Fogerty, Paul Rodgers,James Taylor & Gordon Lightfoot, while adding his own proud Irish heritage to each performance.
Brain O'Conner Bass guitar/Vocals, Brian is a retired music teacher and seasoned player. Performing all over the Tri-State area, cruise ships and many other events and venues.
Al Matukonis, Keyboards/Vocals, Al is retired from a career in IT, now back to rock and roll. A very professional band member who has performed in many bands over his career in music. . Big AI
Tom Daly, Drums. Tom has an interesting music career, He performed in Korea when stationed there with the Army. Retired form a career with Lockheed Martin, he has always been the backbone of any band he has performed with.
We only require a flat surface to set up,electric. Food and drink would be appreciated.
