Country, classic rock and requests are my specialty. I can provide a full band sound for a solo artists budget.
Weddings and private parties are easy to do for me. I carry my own sound system and can provide DJ services with a small "real estate' foot print. I can do solo speaking/playing events, or provide a trio with guitar, bass, drums/percussion to suit almost any type venue. If the evnet requires specialty request music, I can cover it easily with advance notice. My shows are interactive with the audience, or can be discreet 'background music'
Growing up in south Texas, I learned a lot about playing in bands and what it takes to be a solo artist. In Houston, after a time spent working as a bass player at Gilleys, I opened the Musicians Referral in Houston and ran it for about 10 years. I was afforded opportunities to play in string quartets, country bands, rock bands, blue grass and a variety of styles. Moving to L.A. I was a staff writer for Kenny Rogers, where 2 of my originals Louise and Motorcar, were placed on hold for future use. Currently working as a solo/duo/trio artist, I can be seen in Walla Walla, Washington at various wineries, and also in my hometown of LaGrande.
Small stages work best, but I can operate from the floor with at least an 8X8 floorspace
Power requirements of at east household current of 'clean power' are mandatory. No 'Brown extension cord form the refrigerator circuits' please!
If lighting is required, I'll need a 10 ft radius of space.
I have my own P.a, and lighting.
I can provide extra mics for guest speakers for rooms of up to 200 guests
