A Tenor with Spanish charm and a Golden-age style voice! I sing the standard operatic repertoire, as well as some neapolitan songs, Spanish songs and zarzuelas. From Puccini and Verdi to La Calle and Lara. I even do some Big-band style songs (Sinatra, Buble, etc.)
Jose's performance as the Duke of Mantua in Rigoletto at the Bergen PAC production of Rigoletto by the Verismo Opera of NJ, was divine!
He is a consummate professional.
If you are looking for a great opera singer, Jose is your guy. He made my dad's 80th birthday so special since my father is an opera buff. He did an in-house performance of a few arias and it was lovely. He is responsible, fairly priced, has a professional appearance and most important of all a fabulous voice. I would highly recommend him and I will use him again if I ever have the opportunity to.
Price Range: $150 and up

What to Expect
Beautiful singing, acting and interpretation of each song. I can introduce each of the arias/songs, and explain what each is about, and the meaning of the text. I can be interactive with the guests, or just "stand and sing" concert-style. If there is anything specific that you'd like me to do, simply ask and I will do my best to accommodate.

I usually sing with live piano, so ideally a piano (electric or otherwise) and an accompanist/pianist is needed. I also have the backing tracks for many songs, in which case I'd only need a CD player or speaker with aux cord or USB.
