Trever has an eye for the right shot. During our shoot Trever made sure that I was comfortable, and educated in how to make the shot best as possible. I will definitely be working with Trever again in my next project!

It was a pleasure working with Trevor, as not only was his execution spot on, but his perspective through the lens of a camera helped bring our vision to life. He produces high quality videos/photos with attention to detail and strategic call to actions/plans. His ability to creatively brainstorm and co-create was a breath of fresh air. Im writing this review to highlight Trevor Spidle... He was such a professional when I used him to document and film an Interview I did with a local folk hero in my home town. We met every Thursday from 1pm - 3pm at his studio for filming. He always had the lighting and room set up including audio ready to be snapped on when we arrived. His attention to detail was exquisite! It was very important that the back ground didn't change from week to week. Trevor would re-watch last weeks section and move items to match perfectly.... He even made sure the shadows cast were exactly the same... I would of never thought of that stuff, but he did! I was interviewing an older man that was 78 and suffering from Parkinson's, sometimes he would get cranky or inpatient with all my questions and my style for the interview and Trevor would stop the camera's get him refreshments and calmly explain what was next and why it was necessary. None of this was his job, but I was grateful he had that kind of insight and understanding to complete the interview over the course of that summer. When our work was done, 20 sessions i believe, Trevor edited our shoot..... The end product was more than i could of dreamed of! I would of never been able to complete this shoot without him. When the invoice arrived, i was pleasantly surprised. It was not much more that the initial retainer he received at the beginning of the shoot. He said it was his honor to help record the life of such an amazing man,,,, I've went to the nursing home where that ol man is now living out his final days and he told me Trevor comes to visit him on occasion. I cant say enough good things about this young man... If anyone ever needs a photographer or videographer Trevor Spidle and Heartland Story Productions is a must!!!
