Some of our clients just want us to capture footage, others want our help editing as well. We prefer to offer full-service shoot-and-edit but we are comfortable either way. You can expect 4K footage shot on Sony Cinema cameras, and if you prefer footage, we can give it to you in S-Log or with a picture profile, whichever you prefer.

We are accustomed to travel and long days, often the first to arrive and last to leave, but some of our engagements are just a few hours to capture an interview, meeting, or event.

Many of our projects become short documentaries; micro-docs or mini-docs, this is our sweet spot - recording something that happened, the experiences and reactions of people there, and then using it to tell an entertaining, engaging, enlightening story!

Fascination Film Studio is a documentary production studio, but we have a deep bench of experience in live events and event production.
That lends itself to the crossover between cinematic, documentary style and traditional event video.
Want your event shot in standard 30 frames for that live television look? We can do that!
Want it shot in 24 frames for the more cinematic look? That's where we live.
Prefer fast 60 frames so you can slow it down and make buttery slow motion later? We got you.
We primarily shoot on Sony Cinema Line cameras, but we also use DJI Action cameras so we can get all the spaces, angles, and interesting shots that will help tell the story of your event well.
If all you need is a camera set up on the stage and a wide angle at the back of the room - that's not beneath us.
But we thrive on being able to do hallway interviews, capture testimonials, and being able to come out of an event with a fun, inspiring, lively docu-style recap that carries the event beyond the day and the four walls into the future.

We are a small studio with a hardworking, midwestern team. Far from being divas, we'll help however is needed to ensure that you event is a success. We're known for work ethic, high level of service, care for our clients, excellent attitudes, and "early is on time and on time is late." We do what we say we will do and we know that no matter what comes up, "the show must go on."

Although we are primarily a video production studio, we can support you with still photography as needed.

Fascination Film Studio began as a Heritage & Legacy film studio but now we offer "documentary for all," which includes documenting so many of life's moments for families, companies and communities.

We will adapt to your technical needs. We use Sony and DJI equipment, and have a variety of supplemental lighting options available as needed, depending upon the shooting situation. We shoot offhand, using gimbals, and from tripods and other stationary camera mounts.
