Chef Arturo Vargas, owner of Taste for the Senses is a native of Acapulco and was formally trained in the culinary arts in Mexico. He has been a Guest Chef on internation tv and worked in SF finest restaurants. Chef Vargas’ is featured in several media: Sacto Magazine, Univision, Channel 10 and Simply Recipes. Taste for the Senses is a full-service caterer of weddings, parties, bbqs, holiday and business events. Our clients are diverse and include: associations, clubs, chambers, corporations, health orgs, legislators, non-profits, fundraisers, schools, and churches. I am Chef and Owner of Taste for the Senses Catering Company, I am a full service caterer and my price includes all china, servers and a menu designed for a memorable experience. We would design the menu based on your tastes and budget. I would appreciate the opportunity to meet and provide you a sample tasting. I am very passionate about my cuisine and am dedicated to an artistic presentation, professionalism and personalization in my menus. I have catered many corporate dinners, weddings and special events from 50-500 in all settings- indoor and outdoor.. I specialize in BBQ and authenitc Mexican and California cuisine. My Signature dishes for appetizers include; smoked salmon with endives, crab cakes, Chicken skewers, assorted Oaxaca style tamalitos vegetarian sopes, fresh grilled vegetable platters and Taco/Fajita Bars with fresh carnitas, chicken and carne asada and signature salsas My main courses include Grilled Marinated in Garlic, Lime Chicken Breast or Tri Tip, Acapulco style Ceviche, Pastas & Salads.
