Tarot card readings for private or corporate parties. Individual readings generally end on a positive note; i.e., if there is a problem, there is always a solution. The Tarot is a path to spiritual guidance from your higher self rather than a "fortunetelling" device. Maz takes her responsibilities as a reader seriously. She will always tell her the client the truth, but never say anything to embarrass him/her. She has studied the Tarot since 1995 as well as the psychic arts. It's a life-long commitment, and her objective during a reading is to help others to see how they can improve their time on Earth with the help of their guides, angels and higher self.
Very professional, kind and perfect for what we need for that evening!
Response from Tarot by Maz:
Thank you, Taylor! I enjoyed working with you and the Ivy Group as well! I only wish I had been able to stick around a little longer, since there were a couple people who wanted readings after I was packed up and on my way out. Maybe next time...?
Response from Tarot by Maz:
Thank you, Sarah! The event was very enjoyable and I give you and your team 5 stars as well for hospitality and organization.

What to Expect
Maz does 10-card readings for up to 17 guests at private parties, and 3-card readings for attendees at corporate events. The 10-card readings last from 10 to 15 minutes; 3-card readings are 5 - 7 minutes. Maz is always dressed professionally and, upon request, can wear an authentic Romanian folk outfit. She likes to show up 15 - 20 minutes before the event to survey the space and set up. When reading at an intimate gathering, Maz brings two printed affirmations to give and explain to each guest.
In a reading, Maz always focuses on the positive and helps the people being read for to understand that even if there appears to be a problem, there is always a solution. She always does her best to make the individual feel comfortable and open to the spiritual guidance being offered.
Mazurka (Maz) Wojciechowska is a Chicago Tarot card reader and astrologer. She has studied the Tarot with Lucy Sachs (deceased) and Paul Quinn (very much alive) and has been reading for over 20 years. She was inspired to learn the Tarot when she read Sonia Choquette's book "The Psychic Pathway". Reading the chapter on Tarot, she thought, "I could do that!" She later studied the psychic arts with Sonia Choquette and astrology with Christine Arens. In her "other life", Maz is a professional musician; she sings, plays accordion and hammer dulcimer. She earned her degree in vocal performance, graduating cum laude from the American Conservatory of Music.
Her Tarot "breakthrough" came when Sonia Choquette suggested she charge for readings instead of giving them away for free. Sonia told her, "If you make the decision to charge, within two months you will be making money reading Tarot." A short time later, at festival in Wisconsin where she had been hired to play accordion, she decided to offer readings at a reasonable price. The line for readings was out the door and she only realized a couple weeks later that the day she read for all those people was exactly two months after her reading with Sonia! She has been reading professionally ever since.
Her approach to Tarot reading is: always be honest with your client but never harsh or critical. Your client didn't pay to be yelled at or chastised! There is always a diplomatic way to say something, and within every problem is a solution.
