May 29, 2026Tara McAllister recently performed at the Lord Baltimore Hotel alongside an assortment of career magicians, and she was the one the audience couldn't stop talking about.
Her whole set was built around a beautiful message, "release what's been holding you back and reach for the future you actually want." And everything she brought to the stage served that message. The storytelling, the spectacle, none of it got lost in the card juggling and "gotcha" moments that swallow lesser acts. It was something special.
So special that her volunteer was visibly in tears by the end.
I've been in this business for over 20 years. That kind of response is what magic was designed to do, and she pulled it off in a room full of people who do this for a living.
