About Mike Thornton
Like most magicians, Mike started his career with a toy magic set he received at Christmas as a child. He stuck with it and soon began going door to door in his neighborhood offering shows (really!). Soon after, birthday parties, libraries, and community events followed.
During his high school years, Mike was constantly seen on local Detroit television, appearing on shows like Oopsy the Clown, Daedal Doors, and Kidsworld Magazine.
After high school, Mike studied under the legendary magician Neil Foster at the Chavez College of Magic in the Magic Capitol of the World, Colon, Michigan. Mike has been performing professionally for over 35 years at some of the most prominent events in the Midwest.
Mike is a member of numerous professional affiliations, which assists him in keeping abreast of the latest innovations in the entertainment industry.
Mike's ability to blend mind-blowing miracles with lots of comedy and audience participation has made him a favorite at corporate events, weddings, and conventions.
