To me, live music is the heart of a great event, and it is the breath of the soul.
I will travel almost anywhere. Travel expenses will be factored into my quote for events beyond 10 miles from home.
Stacey did a phenomenal job at our candlelight vigil. She was able to accommodate and play 4-5 requested Lebanese songs on the violin, brought positive energy, and interacted with the everyone in a very open and accepting manner. Could not have asked for a better experience!
Stacy took the time to individualize her music for my day and plan out a beautiful set list for my ceremony.
Response from Tanager Fiddle Works:
Thank you for the honor of playing music for your beautiful ceremony, Elisa! It was a joy, and what a perfect setting and gorgeous day you had.
We’re so pleased with how perfect the music sounded for our wedding ceremony! Amazing job couldn’t be happier. Thank you so much!
Stacy is a very pleasant lady and her performance was wonderful. She was very easy to deal with, arrived much before the performance and worked with the other two performers to do a fusion piece of Sitar/Tabla and fiddle! All our guests loved her performance!
Stacy helped me make a special day even more special - she played violin as I proposed to my now fiance! Stacy picked some romantic music. She even played a special request song to which I sang - Stacy even practiced the song with me in-person the day before. She is sweet and wonderful to work with. Thanks so much!!
I was so thrilled to work with Stacy and her string musicians as a string quartet for a beautiful Easter Service! She is a fantastic, creative, and talented violinist with such a warm personality. She even went above and beyond meeting with the music director to organize the music for everyone and ensure everything was perfect for the event! I look forward to working with her again in the future!
A fabulous evening was had by all when Stacy fiddled and charmed us with beautiful music and some lively Irish tunes. It was a magical night and you could here her play throughout the house and the grounds. Children danced in the foyer and on the terrace as it's hard to resist an Irish jig. I would highly recommend Stacy and she can transport you to anytime with her musical talents!
Stacy’s performance at the Woman’s National Democtartic Club was inspiring and set the tone for the Woman’s March that followed. She is a talented and passionate musician and her performance skills are impressive.
Stacy came very well prepared. Every one loved her as she so polite and kind. She played all the songs beautifully, even the songs that she hasn’t played ever. Thank you, Stacy, for making our event so beautiful. :)
Response from Tanager Fiddle Works:
It was a joy and honor to celebrate with your friends and family, Hanaa! Thank you from the bottom of my heart for bringing these beautiful Egyptian songs into my life!
Our grandmother was being buried at a standard ceremony at Arlington Cemetery, but we wanted to personalize her memory with music as she might have played it on her own violin. Tunes chosen were farewell- and sailing-away-themed, for the mood, for the Navy, and for the St. Patrick's Day weekend burial date. Everyone spoke afterwards of how moving and memorable this funeral was thanks to Stacy.
Of course, she was also on time and prepared at the arranged place, just in case others want to know.
Response from Tanager Fiddle Works:
It was an honor to play a tribute to your grandmother and such a pleasure to meet your family, Andrea. I’m so glad I could be part of your ceremony. Thank you for being so wonderful to work with while we put together a personalized program that recognized your grandmothers musical talent and love of travel.
Stacy played violin for my wedding ceremony and it was such a special addition. My partner is Jewish, and we wanted to add bits of our personal histories into our (very homegrown) ceremony. Stacy worked with us to find the perfect traditional Jewish folk song song to accompany our ceremony. She was so thoughtful of our needs down to the finest detail -she even considered what her sheet music stand might look like amidst the ceremony and brought along both her best stand (which she checked in at the airport) and a backup stand (which she carried on board the plane with her) just in case the other one was lost in airport baggage. In addition to her being so thoughtful and playing such beautiful music, she also pulled through for us in a pinch. We had wanted to play the Hava Nagila for the chair lifting dance during our reception, but forgot to bring the song along to our remote wedding. Stacy pulled out her violin and played it for us - which of course was so much better than a recorded version on an mp3 player! I highly recommend Stacy for any event for which you want a thoughtful, kind, fun, and talented violinist of fiddler. You will not be disappointed!
