Brazilian- American iteration of the bloco afro of Bahia ---- Performance groups that took the center stage
in the carnival celebrations of Bahia during 1970s. Tambores e Samba was founded and led by Abel
Damasceno from Salvador

Tambores e Samba is an Amazing group of professional percussionists. I got to see them at the San Francisco Carnival May 25 and they were fantastic live show street party,
What makes this group truly special is how inclusive and diverse it is—bringing together people of all ages, ethnicities, and nationalities from across the Bay Area.
Highly recommend for anyone looking to experience the spirit of Brazil right here in the Bay Area!
