Hello! I am a soulful powerhouse who can and loves to perform any type of genre, but if I had to choose I would say R&B/soul is my favorite. I have a band I put together at my school, Berklee College of Music, and we perform R&B/soul and contemporary songs and love to put our own twist on the songs. We have great energy on stage and would love to perform for you!

What to Expect
Well, to be honest when people look at me they I am going to sing Taylor Swift or something. But, that's the opposite of what I do. I love the 'wow-factor' and the responses I get once I sing that first note. I think it's all about showing the crowd what you've got and having them enjoy themselves with some awesome music.
I started out by getting classically trained at Strathmore's Levine School of Music in Maryland. I learned so many techniques and habits by starting with that particular training and performing in front of juries, but knew that wasn't the style I wanted to go further with. I then joined School of Rock my sophomore year of high school and fell in love with performing instantly. The first show was all Led Zeppelin tunes, I was hooked from that moment on. I took the powerful vocals that I needed to perform for Zeppelin songs and started getting more into R&B/soul and contemporary songs. The attention and response I was getting on stage was unreal, so I knew this was my calling. I started getting more exposure and experience as years went by. Then, my junior year of high school I was told about Berklee College of Music and kept my focus on getting in there. I am now a sophomore here at Berklee and am loving every second of it. The exposure, material I learn and challenges I face everyday are what I want to do for the rest of my life, music.

Influences & Inspiration
Aretha Franklin and Whitney Houston are a huge influences, and have been for as long as I can remember. Also, growing up my mom would play a lot of Mary J. Blige tunes and my dad would play a lot of classic rock bands. Bands like Led Zeppelin, RUSH, Rolling Stones and rock artists like Pat Benatar, Billy Joel, Elton John etc. Those are definitely some of my influences. But todays artists that I love are Tori Kelly, Beyonce, Jessie J,Jazmine Sullivan and Alicia Keys. The reason I love all these artist are because they all have such raw talents. The voice is the most raw instrument there is. It's within you, and all these artists/singers are unbelievably talened whether you here them on stage or on a studio recording.
