What to expect
We are a professional ensemble responsible for our own set up and tear down. All we require to put on a fantastic show is power for our equipment! Our dance band will be happy to provide one to four 45 minute sets for your entertainment pleasure featuring 40s music to get you dancing.
About
The Swift Current Jazz Orchestra is a community-based, non-profit jazz ensemble that showcases the talents of local musicians. Under the vision and direction of Greg McLean, the jazz orchestra consists of five saxophones, four trombones, four trumpets and a four piece rhythm section which create a traditional big band sound. Past performances have also included vocal solos by local artists. The Swift Current Jazz Orchestra dance band is available for all occasions playing the stylings of Glenn Miller, Gordon Goodwin and more.
