I play songs by, and in the styles of, bands/artists such as the Allman Brothers Band, Stevie Ray Vaughan, ZZ Top, Gov't Mule, Joe Bonamassa, Led Zeppelin, Robin Trower, Deep Purple, Black Sabbath, Freddie King, Traffic, Free, Sam Cooke, Ben E. King, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Eric Clapton, etc, as well as several "surprises" to really engage the crowd.
Jason picked up the guitar at age 19. A relative late bloomer, he studied hard and soaked up the blues heavy sound of players like Stevie Ray Vaughan, Duane Allman, Billy Gibbons, Warren Haynes, Joe Bonamassa and the like. He spent a few years living in Austin, Texas, where the music began to get really serious. Upon his return to Ohio, he quickly formed a band and hit the stage running.
Vocally Jason is influenced by, and at times compared to, Gregg Allman, Warren Haynes, Steve Winwood, Sam Cooke, Bob Seger and Stevie Ray Vaughan.
