We create a type of jam music that is all our own. Taking from musical styles such as rock, blues, jazz, psychedelic, jam, ambient, funk and even folk we bring a few smiles everywhere we go. We have the ability to provide high energy rock concerts for festivals and larger venues as well as being able to entertain smaller venues with acoustic or jazz style performances. We take our jams and musical improvisations to places that other "Jam Bands" do not dare to tread. For a truly unique listening experience come and see Sweet Delta Dawn live! We are a "Jam Band". We play many different covers but mostly we play Grateful Dead and Phish tunes. We also play original music and love to improvise live. Each performance and every tune is unique and full of energy. Sweet Delta Dawn is awesome live!
We are a group of eccentric musicians working together to find enlightenment through tasty jams. Brought together by a love for classic rock and a desire for improvisation. We hope to bring a few extra smiles. The Sweet Delta Dawn is a jam band based out of Madison, Wisconsin. Heavily inspired by bands like the Grateful Dead, Pink Floyd, and Phish, they bring a few extra smiles everywhere they go. Their music is a blendification of psychedelic, jam, rock, blues, and specially chosen cover tunes. Sweet Delta Dawn is: Tyler Willenbrink on drums, Jeff Clarke on bass and vocals, Cameron Kennedy on guitar and vocals, and Jay Vollberg on keyboard. They have been playing together for almost 4 years, each with over a decade of experience at their craft, and are one of the newest up and coming Jam Bands. You will LOVE the Sweet Delta Dawn! (~);}
We are a four piece band. Keyboard, guitar, bass, and drums. The guitar and bass players both sing. So we need two vocal microphones, 2 DI boxes, a drum mic kit, and enough power for 4 amps, a keyboard, and two effects pedal boards. We can provide our own PA and gear. However, we would need the above list if we didn't bring our own PA and other gear.
