The band was energetic and engaged the entire crowd. They played a great variety of music. The dance floor was full the entire evening. We could not be happier with the experience, they were professional and communicated easily. They were the cherry on the top of our perfect day! We look forward to having them again.

BTJ is an impressive band! I hired them to play at my husbands surprise b-day bash. I had never hired a band previously.
Our guest were blown away by their talent. In fact, the question I was most asked during the event was "how did you find this band, they are amazing!!"
Both Chris & Ian have incredibly powerful & impressive singing ranges. Excellent guitar (Chris), Bass (Bob) & Drums(C.P.). You guys play so well together!... above & beyond expectations.

You dont have to be a musician to know that Buford T Judd & The Dumptrucks have talent!
We hired them for our outdoor wedding reception on a local patio and they sounded amazing!
Chris coordinated the timing well in advance and provided guidance on how many musicians we would need. They also sent us a list of about 200 songs to choose from so the band could curate a custom play list geared toward our party.
My husband turned this into a fun weekend game, sipping wine and listening to all the songs they could play.
The day of the party the band showed up about 2 hours early to set up and played almost the entire 3 hours with a few intermissions.
Everyone at the party enjoyed the music and commented on how great they sound!

Their band was extremely professional, punctual, kind and very attentive to our group. We hosted a banquet and Awards event, with a band to follow and it was a huge hit! Our event was in the private seating at Memorial Stadium, which is a large space. Their music sounded wonderful throughout the entire space. They played a variety of music which was all well received with lots of positive feedback from the attendees! We highly recommend them and will reach out to book for future events!

We recently had Buford T. Judd and the Dumptrucks at our Club Event this past weekend, they were absolutely incredible. Their talent was through the roof, we have been receiving major compliments from our membership regarding their performance, even those who did not attend the event have heard some amazing reviews. Word spreads fast here! Chris and his team had true class, they were very easy and accommodating to work with. You could see they had passion for what they do which was wonderful to watch. They definitely put on a great show to the point, we want them back in the Fall! Highly recommend them and no doubt in my mind they will blow you away!
Party Band
My wife and I booked them for our wedding ceremony and reception. They handled all audio and music playlists for the ceremony. Chris did a great job of emceeing all the necessary moments throughout the reception as well. Lastly they performed live for 4 hours during our reception. Guests as well as hotel staff throughout the night and days following were commenting on how good they were and how much fun they had. They were the full package and everything we could have asked for, which allowed us to just enjoy the day/night. I would recommend them for any occasion where a live band is wanted.

Our social event was an absolute hit and it was due in no small part to Buford T Judd and the Dumptrucks. They played an amazing set list. They were easy to work with and I plan on hiring them again.

Chris and his bandmates with whom make us Bufort T. Judd and the Dumptrucks are all excellent musicians. We hosted an outdoor event that we hired them for that had a country theme and they delivered us a fantasic night of fun loving, southerm, country, alt rock that had 125 guests dancing the night away. Chris is an awesome gutiar player and excellent sound engineer. The band comes with thier own state of the art equipment and had the sound was dialed in from the first chords they played. They also have lights that added to the experience. True professionals that that know how to make a party rock! Chris is also a very personable guy that understands events and will assist you in making sure they offer what you are looking for. Our event was a blast because of Bufort T. Judd and the Dumptrucks! Give them them a call if you want your party to rock!

BTJ was the perfect choice for our "Vintage Vegas" themed marriage celebration this fall! From the word go they were responsive, professional, talented, and just a nice group of people to work with. They provided a great variety of music, were thoughtful emcees, and had non-guests asking us who they were, where they came from, and if we would send their contact details. No regrets here if you are looking for a great band that will cover the best of country, classic rock, and alternative! Highly recommended.

Yes, we have power requirements that are very standard. Every venue we have performed at has easily been able to accommodate our power requirements.
